NYC Department of Transportation held Grandparents Safety Day at Midwood Senior Center and Millennium Cheerleaders were glad to add to the excitment with a performance and help serve the active adults lunch.

PS 312 Ballroom Dancers Visit Midwood Senior Center
December 21, 2011

PS 312 students showed off their skill with the foxtrot, waltz and more at Midwood Senior Center. The young dancers were dressed to impressed for Midwood's holiday party and topped off their performance with gelt chocolate for Midwood members.

NYC DOT's Safety Education Division held a presentation for Midwood seniors Wednesday, May 19th. The live drama performance was well appreciated by the active adults. Thank you, DOT for keeping our seniors educated and safe.

TimeBanksNYC is a free resource for connecting individuals and organizations that recognize that each person has talents to share, and that the overall community is strengthened when neighbors help one another with a wide range of services. On Friday of President's week, February 25th, students from P.S. 251 paid Midwood Active Adults a visit. Not only did they help serve lunch, they treated everyone there to a song.

To show their thanks, the Midwood Active Adults offered the young entertainers front row seats to their Chinese New Year Celebration.
